Castara Bonfire on the Beach Night Party

(Thursdays ONLY)

We head out to the charming fishing village of Castara for 5p.m. to enjoy happy hour cocktails at a gorgeous resort in the hills that overlooks Castara Bay.
Sit around the hummingbird feeders, as we welcome the coming of twilight with arguably the best sunset experience in Tobago.

Afterward, we head down to the bay for a delicious dinner in a restaurant on the beach. Around 7:30 p.m, the first bamboo pyre is lit and the night begins! Over the next few hours, indulge in the music and great conversation with friends and locals. Grab drinks at the bar and play a game of cards or even table tennis!

You can even head to the water for a night swim under a canopy of stars and of course, be entranced by the inviting fire, as the energetic steel band sets up for their stunning performance.

Food vendors offer many local delights, including doubles and bake and shark.

As the night progresses, the DJ takes over and the dance floor opens. Party with the locals and other visitors or just hang out on beach mats around the fire.

Definitely the best thing to do in Tobago on a Thursday night.
