The best island experience in all of TnT! Such an extraordinary, fun and eye-opening experience! We had no idea that this level of excellence and customer service existed in Tobago. David and Anna are phenomenal tour guides and hosts. They are vibrant, funny, full of information, and they obviously love Tobago like no one else we've seen. Well, because of that we now love Tobago so much more. We could not believe all we experienced. From the forests, beaches, historical sites, and hummingbird facility with the best lunch ever! Can't get enough of Tobago I spent Carnival in Trini with friends and headed to Tobago to bask in the sun and sand for a couple of days. I was alone and without a car and wanted to see the island, and found David/ Island Girl Tours through trip advisor and I'm so glad I did.

Initially perplexed at how someone could have so many 5 star reviews, that dissipated as soon as I started the tour. David really gets to know what you're interested in and caters the experience to the gems in Tobago. He combines history, adventure, and exploration wonderfully. The hummingbirds were one of the many magical experiences that day.

I left Tobago wanting to return before the plane took off. I will definitely be back with Island Girl Tours next time!

Wonderful experience. This tour was a wonderful experience. We saw beaches and waterfalls and hummingbirds but most of all, we felt that we got to know and understand Tobago so much more than we would have if we had just done our own activities. David is kind and interesting and funny and he knows so much about the island. We felt like we had a friend on the island and he took care of us during our entire trip. His wife Anna is adorable and helpful as well. Truly excellent!

Wonderful experience This is overall a wonderful experience. David was absolutely amazing from beginning to end of tour. He was very knowledgeable about the island and attentive to our needs. We were able to customize our tours based on what we wanted to see. A Trini amazed in Tobago The lunch with the hummingbirds. It was awesome and thrilling . It’s an amazing experience to actually have the birds come right up to the feeder in your hand. Food was fresh tasty and at the correct temperature. The timing was well coordinated. David was knowledgeable polite and very welcoming. I will definitely be back on my next trip home.

True Local Tour I've toured with David in 2019 and 2020 (in the before time). And I've finally made my way back 3 years later! I've been to Tobago many times, but I always bring new people with me. I make it clear to them that while I visit Tobago often, I can't hold a candle to David. He has his finger on the pulse at all times and while I tried to visit the highlights he crafted for us in 2020, he updated me on what not to revisit and took me to what's new in 2023.

I think the thing that blew me away was when I asked him if the bioluminescence tour was still available and he looked to the night sky, pointed out that the full moon prohibited viewing and stated that the fishermen he's in touch with will advise him on which beaches were prime viewing when they're visible again.

It's something that makes him stand out as a local tour guide. He utilises the people of the island to help him help you have the best experience.

Because the bioluminescence tour was unavailable, we fell back to the bonfires at Castara. He explained how the high pressure steam in the bamboo they burn builds up and makes it sound like a cannon. And he even educated us on how people use it for celebrations around the time of Divali.

The guy more than knows his stuff.

The BEST Tobago tour My wife and I booked with David while in Tobago on our honeymoon, and we really couldn’t have more positive things to say. David picked us up early to go get doubles, an essential Trini street food, and from the moment he greeted us with coconut water he made us feel at home. The tour was truly customizable; we stayed as long as we wanted at the places we liked and could pick where to go next, although we trusted him as an obvious expert. Beaches, waterfalls, forts, and of course FOOD were all amazing, especially lunch at the hummingbird pavilion where we were treated to a home cooked meal and the sight of beautiful rare birds. David, as a local, is intimately connected with Trinibagonian culture and it seems like everyone on the island knows him. My wife and I were celebrating our four year anniversary in Trinidad and Tobago. I am of Trinidadian descent and wanted to explore Tobago for the first time with my wife. In preparation for our trip, we looked up the excursions in Tobago and found David and Anna’s wonderful advertisement with glowing reviews. A whole day touring the island seemed a lot at first and we expected it to be a long day, but in essence it was the most complete driving tour you could see of Tobago. We saw multiple forts, dozens of lookout sites, went to multiple beaches, went through a forest reserved, which included a hummingbird sanctuary. We also dined at this sanctuary and was blessed with a homemade lunch by a local chef/gardener. We saw numerous waterfalls, and even swam in a few. David is the most wonderful tour guide. Unlike any other tour in Tobago! What a fantastic tour! Never had such an experience like this in Tobago. Fantastic tour guides David and Pixie are two amazing people with an abundance of knowledge about their beautiful island unfortunately for us it rained all the time we were here but our last night was made so special as they took us to release wild baby turtles into the sea. We had booked the 12 hour VIP trip but were unable to go due to the weather at no point were we pressured to go on this trip as they both put our safety above everything else, we have done several tours in different countries and these two wonderful people not only adore their island but want to make sure anyone visiting adores it too. Such an Amazing Tour Guide & Tours!!! From start to finish we had a fun filled adventure with so many experiences. David gives off such a wonderful welcoming vibe that makes the experience even better. From the breath taking views to the history of the island that David is able to contribute to his tours made our adventures top notch. We enjoyed so much but my favourite was snorkeling, where I was able to swim with a sea turtle. Thank you so much David.
