Sunday School limeThis is far different from the Sunday school you may recall as a child. In Tobago on Sunday nights, the only place to be is down in Buccoo for a “lime” with the locals. Sunday school is an outdoor party of sorts where people come together to just hang out and enjoy music, drinks and stage performances.
Carry on until the break of dawn
There is a DJ pounding out our cheery Caribbean music, and a skilful steel-band displaying the mellifluous sounds of our local instrument. An extraordinary limbo display (again native to TnT) will definitely wow you!
Vendors abound, selling crafts and street food, including bake and shark and lobster dinners. After the steel-band, the music changes back to the DJ and the party continues until the crowd dies down. This lime has been known to carry on until the break of dawn.
So come and sit, relax and just take in the show or come ready to party like a local, all night long until the sun comes up!
Please Note: This tour finishes at midnight (12 a.m.). However, if you wish to stay beyond this time, arrangements can be made.
Cost: US $40 / TT $280 per person
