Tropical Bird Watching and Nature Hike in The Main Ridge Forest Reserve

We depart early in the morning for a peaceful, sun-dappled coastal drive, admiring the postcard views along the way.

flawless and enchanting

The time immemorial ecosystem of the Main Ridge Forest Reserve welcomes us as we begin our walk through this protected environment, the oldest in the Western Hemisphere.

Become engrossed in the greenery of this flawless and enchanting terrain, and scan around for snakes, reptiles, crabs, agoutis and other wildlife, while the medley of birdsong adds the perfect soundtrack to the tranquil hike. Look out for the Mot Mot, various species of Hummingbirds, Nightingales, Tropical Mockingbirds, etc., and the ever-present and caconophous national bird of Tobago, the Cocrico.

Spend some free time experiencing the Gold and Silver falls, while basking in the freshest country air you will ever breathe.
